Winner of the BBC Planet Award for World Music – 2007, Debashish Bhattacharya (W'ton India Project)

Debashish is undoubtedly one of the brightest stars in the musical firmament of Indian classical music. He received the President of India Award at the age of twenty for winning the National Music Competition of All India Radio and when he was only in his thirties, was awarded the Top Grade, the ultimate honour by the Prasar Bharati Ministry of information and Broadcasting of India.
Subhasis Bhattacharya will accompany him on tabla.
