Competition for July to September 2009

[Prize: a CD or 2 audio cassettes]

a) Name a raga or a track played on Surtarang that you liked best in each month of July, August and September 2009.

b) "If you practice for 10 years, you may begin to please yourself, after 20 years you may become a performer and please the audience, after 30 years you may please even your guru, but you must practice for many more years before you finally become a true artist—then you may please even God. " - Who said this?

c) Name a famous musician of the Indore Gharana who was featured in the radio shows during this quarter.

The rules which will guide the competition are as follows:

The result of the competition will be announced during the first week of October 2009.

*The members of the board of directors of Surdhwani or their families are not eligible for entering the competition.

* If there is more than one correct entry, then the winner will be chosen by lot from the correct entries.

* Surdhwani will not accept any liability for any loss or damage to the prize during transit.

* Surdhwani will not accept any liability for any mailing restrictions in countries out side UK.

* Rules for subsequent competitions may change.
